German stocks are lower at the close of trading. DAX down 0.17% Based on Investing.com

Investing.com – German stocks were lower after the close on Friday.

The worst performer was Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:), down 9.13% to 109.50 in late trading. Evotech AG ON (ETR:) fell 4.97% to settle at 9.76. LANXESS AG (ETR:) was down 4.14% at 26.16 at the close.

The top performer on TecDAX was Freenet AG NA (ETR:), up 3.74% to 23.88. teamviewer AG (ETR:) was up 2.03% to close at 12.08, while Jenoptik AG (ETR:) was up 1.76% to close at 27.74.

The worst performers were Evotec AG ON (ETR:), down 4.97% to 9.76 in late trading, and Sartorius AG VZO ON (ETR:), down 3.28% to 268.50. Nagaro SE (ETR:) It closed down 3.11% at 85.80.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 302-300, with 40 ending unchanged.

Shares in Commerzbank AG ON (ETR:) rose to a five-year high. It rises by 1.98% or 0.30 to 15.47.

The index measuring the implied volatility of DAX options fell 1.48% to 13.99.

Gold futures for June delivery rose 1.27%, or $30.25, to $2,415.75 per troy ounce. In other commodity trading, crude oil for June delivery rose 0.42%, or 0.33, to $79.56 per barrel, while the July Brent crude oil contract rose 0.38%, or 0.32, to $83.59 per barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% at 1.09 and EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.24% at 0.86.

U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.00% to 104.35.
