German stocks rise at close of trading. DAX rose 0.37%, based on Investing.com
Investing.com – German stocks rose after the close on Monday, with gains in the and sectors leading shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the index was up 0.37%, the index was up 0.61%, and the index was up 0.05%.
The top performers for this session were: porsche Automobil Holding SE (ETR:) was up 2.78% or 1.35 points to trade at 49.92 at the close. Meanwhile, RWE AG ST ON (ETR:) added 2.55%, or 0.87 points, to close at 35.02. Bayer AG NA (ETR:) rose 2.32% or 0.64 points to 28.27 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR:), down 0.81% or 1.50 points to trade at 182.90 at the close. Adidas AG (ETR:) closed down 0.54% or 1.20 points at 222.70. Commerzbank AG ON (ETR:) was down 0.48% or 0.08 point to 15.59.
MDAX’s top performers are: wacker chemistry ON (ETR:) rose 4.29% to 105.80. Evotech AG ON (ETR:) rose 3.79% to settle at 9.18. Fraport AG (ETR:) rose 3.56% to close at 52.35.
The worst performers were: Extron SE (ETR:) was down 2.86% at 22.72 in late trading. Hello Fresh SE (ETR:) fell 1.40% to settle at 5.79. Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) It was down 1.11% at 29.53 at the close.
The top performer on TecDAX was Evotec AG ON (ETR:), up 3.79% to 9.18. Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) rose 2.73% to settle at 38.32 and Kontron AG (ETR:) rose 2.21% to close at 21.30.
The worst performers were Suess Microtec NA ON (ETR:), down 5.79% to 57.00 in late trading, and Aixtron SE (ETR:), down 2.86% to 22.72. Nemecheck AG ON (ETR:) was down 0.82% at 91.05 at the close.
On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones by 387 to 231, while 25 stocks ended unchanged.
The index measuring the implied volatility of DAX options fell 0.09% to 12.32, the lowest in a month.
Gold futures for June delivery rose 0.87%, or $20.30, to $2,354.80 per troy ounce. In other commodity trading, crude oil for July delivery rose 1.27% (0.99) to $78.71 per barrel, and the August Brent crude oil contract rose 1.25% (1.02) to trade at $82.86 per barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% at 1.09 and EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.18% at 0.85.
U.S. dollar index futures fell 0.14% to 104.49.
