Grant Announcement for Advocacy Nonprofits

The Ethereum Foundation is allocating $1 million in grants to organizations that educate governments and policymakers on Ethereum and blockchain technology. We encourage others in the Ethereum community to support their important work.

A space to grow and do good things

We know that innovative technologies raise new questions for regulators and governments. But regulators must strike a balance between supporting the growth of new industries while protecting their members from malicious actors and fraud. The Ethereum community can play a positive role in this process by providing information and resources to policymakers and governments.

The good news is that there are more and more amazing organizations taking on this role for our communities. Some of them are focused solely on Ethereum and blockchain, while others understand its potential as a tool for the broader mission of privacy. Transparency, financial inclusion and more.
