Greek stocks fall after trading closes. Athens Composite Index down 0.81% from Investing.com

Investing.com – Greek stocks were lower after the close on Monday.

At the close of trading in Athens, it fell 0.81%.

The top performer of the session was Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:), which rose 2.03% or 0.04 points to trade at 2.01 at the close. Meanwhile, Elinoil Hellenic Petroleum Company SA (AT:) added 1.99%, or 0.04 points, to close at 2.05. athens water (AT:) rose 1.40% or 0.08 point to 5.78 in late trading.

The worst participants in this session were: Biohalco SA (AT:) was down 4.14% or 0.22 points to close at 5.10. Fourlis Hld (AT:) closed at 3.58, down 3.76% or 0.14 points. intralot (AT:) fell 3.04%, or 0.03 points, to 0.89.

On the Athens Stock Exchange, declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 91 to 31, with 14 ending unchanged.

Shares in Viohalco SA (AT:) fell to a 52-week low. It fell by 4.14%, or from 0.22 to 5.10. Shares of Intralot (AT:) fell to a 52-week low. decreased by 3.04% (0.03~0.89).

Gold futures for December delivery rose 1.71%, or $43.85, to $2,613.95 per troy ounce. In other commodity trading, crude oil for January delivery rose 2.84%, or 1.90, to $68.82 per barrel, and the January Brent crude oil contract rose 2.77%, or 1.97, to $73.01 per barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% at 1.06 and EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.29% at 0.84.

U.S. dollar index futures fell 0.18% to 106.43.
