Pre-launch
Primedice was founded and launched in 2013 by Ed Craven, Bijan Tehrani, and Chris Freeman. This dice gambling site was the beginning of what would become Stake.com, and while it may seem odd to mention Primedice in a Stake.com article, they are still very closely linked.
Not only are both gambling sites linked to each other in their footer navigation tool called “About Us,” but both have had Mladen Vučković as their CEO since 2017.
2016: Lead-up
In 2016, the two co-founders of Primedice came together to create a new and exciting gambling experience. Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani founded Easygo, a company that develops games for online casinos. Although the two are known to have started the company together, Ed Craven is the sole shareholder.
In August 2017, Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani joined forces again to create another exciting addition to the gambling industry. The two helped co-found Stake.com.

Founder of Steak, Ed Craven Finally Joins Twitter In June 2019, he posted giveaways and updates for Stake.com and Primedice Casino. He seemed to present himself as an influencer rather than a founder.
We’ve got a monumental update coming up that brings lots of hints and early beta test access. Stake.com launches sportsbook. In November.
Stake has had an incredible year since launching its sportsbook, securing several high-level partnerships with major athletes.
In January, Stake secured a sponsorship deal with MMA fighter and UFC champion Israel Adesanya. Shortly after, it announced a partnership with UFC. Continuing its UFC acquisition, Stake partners with heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
The Stake began its foray into football betting in July when it announced a sponsorship deal with Premier League side Watford FC, which will see them become the club’s main shirt sponsor.
Stake has grown steadily over the past few years and this partnership with Watford signals the next chapter for our company. We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with a club with such a rich history, yet still with a truly innovative spirit.

Things are getting worse. Streaming platform Twitch has banned gambling streams, specifically targeting cryptocurrency gambling platforms like Stake, Rollbit, Duelbits, and Roobet.
This was especially harsh because Stake had gained a huge reputation through influencer marketing, especially streamers. But their prayers were answered when Twitch sensation and Stake.com partner Trainwreckstv announced Kick.com. The platform was not owned by Stake.com, but was tied to casino founder Ed Craven as an investor. Many believe Craven led the platform after Twitch banned gambling streamers.
2023: Launch of Kick.com and key sports partnerships
The Kick.com streaming platform officially launched to the public. In the same month, it was announced that F1 racing team Alfa Romeo joined the Stake.com list of partners as a title sponsor, with the Stake logo appearing on their cars. This year, Stake has also achieved a significant milestone. Since its launch, over 253 billion bets have been placed, a huge leap from the 65 billion bets in 2022. It is clear that more and more people are loving the service Stake offers, especially the easy-to-use platform and popular promotions such as Daily Races and Multiplier Races.
In addition, Stake will continue to position its brand at the forefront of motorsport by partnering with Alfa Romeo in 2023 and the Sauber F1 Team in the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
The Future of Steak
