How to check bitcoin core download with gpg step by step on ubuntu server?

I’m a beginner in setting up a Bitcoin node, but I’m trying to check in GPG if the pub key for downloading Bitcoin Core is no longer available. I’ve attempted to do my own research, but so far I can’t seem to find anyone who can explain in Layman’s terms how to do so.

I downloaded all three files needed for this.

bitcoin-24.0.1-x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.gz
SHA256SUMS 
SHA256SUMS.asc

I verified the checksum of the release file.

sha256sum --ignore-missing --check SHA256SUMS

Now that the txt file is no longer on GitHub, I’ve completely lost track of what to do here. I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while but I can’t seem to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
