- Worker settings
First, hover your mouse over the ‘io/cloud’ logo at the top left of the homepage and click ‘Worker’. Then click “Connect New Worker” at the top of the screen. Then select the operating system (e.g. Mac OS), the vendor, and finally give the device a unique name and select the device type.
- Download and set up Docker Desktop
Download Docker Desktop for MAC OS here. Then select the recommended settings when prompted.
- Download and run the binary
Click “Containers” on the left side of Docker. Then open Terminal on your Mac by pressing the Command and Space keys on your keyboard. Paste each of the three commands from the webpage in step 3 above into your terminal and click “Enter” after each command.
- Please wait for settings
You will need to copy and paste the command from step 5 above into your terminal and then wait for the setup to complete. While you wait, click “Refresh” periodically. It may take up to 48 hours for setup to complete.
- Make sure the setup is complete.
To check if setup is complete, type “docker ps” in Terminal. Once setup is complete, you will see a number in the “CPU(%)” column. This number indicates CPU performance.
- Set up payment account
Go to https://cloud.io.net/worker/earnings-and-rewards to set up a payout account in a Solana wallet, such as Phantom Wallet.
