BEIJING (Reuters) – China will take stronger response measures if the United States continues to violate and threaten the country’s sovereignty and security interests on key issues or pressure the development of Chinese enterprises, state media said on Friday.

This remark came from a social media post by Yuyuan Tantian, a subsidiary of China’s state-run broadcaster CCTV, quoting a source familiar with the government’s foreign policy.

The United States on Wednesday accused Chinese leaders of supporting Russia’s war in Ukraine and warned that China could face additional sanctions from the United States and other NATO countries.
