Immutable launches interoperable tools across multiple video games and marketplaces

Blockchain gaming company Immutable announced the launch of its “Passport” tool to increase interoperability.

According to a statement, Immutable’s Passport tool is designed to simplify “the sign-up process for players by providing them with a universal profile that allows them to carry their identities, achievements, and digital assets across a variety of online games and marketplaces.”

Initially, the tool, which promises interoperability, will be available across five game titles and a marketplace with more than 500,000 users, the company said. According to the statement, these games and marketplaces include “Gods Unchained,” “Blocklete Golf,” “Bleacher Report Watch2Earn,” TokenTrove, and AtomicHub.

Between games like “Gods Unchained,” a digital trading card game featuring mythological characters, and “Blocklete Golf,” a strategy golf game, it’s unclear how players will use their digital assets, but Immutable believes its Passport tool will help better games. It appears that they think they can foster . experience.

Remove barriers to adoption

“Ask any Web3 game or market about the biggest barrier to Web3 adoption, and they’ll talk about user acquisition,” Robbie Ferguson, president and co-founder of Immutable, said in a statement. “(Passport) increases user acquisition, optimizes transaction conversion rates, and provides players with a seamless, seamless experience to explore new worlds and engage with new economies.”

So far, the web3 gaming field is in the development stage. We are working on a variety of projects to build a strong, engaged community on par with existing gaming platforms that host millions, if not tens of millions, of players each month. While most companies focus on creating popular titles that operate independently of other games, Immutable is attempting to build interoperable gaming worlds.

“If you want to alienate gamers, ask them to create a wallet every time they sign up and tell them they can’t take assets or achievements from game to game,” said Daniel Paez, vice president and executive producer of “Gods.” “This has long been a major obstacle to widespread adoption of Web3, not just in games but across a variety of applications,” Unchained said in a statement.
