Indices: Stock Market Update: Nifty Bank Index Gains 1.03%
Shares of Au Small Finance Bank Ltd. (up 3.5%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (up 2.96%), Bandhan Bank Ltd. (up 2.71%), Axis Bank Ltd. (up 2.25%) and Bank of Baroda (up 2.1%). % gain) ended the day with the highest gains in the pack.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 0.12%) and State Bank of India (down 0.1%) ended as the biggest losers on the day.
The Nifty Bank index closed 1.03 per cent higher at 48195.85.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index rose 141.25 points to 21658.6, while the BSE Sensex rose 490.97 points to 71847.57.
Of the 50 stocks included in the Nifty index, 27 ended in green and 23 ended in red.
Shares of Reliance Power, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power and HFCL were among the most traded stocks on the NSE. Shares of Inventure Gwth, Almondz Global, Kothari Prod, Brooks Labs and Reliance Power hit new 52-week lows in today’s trading, while shares of Raj Rayon, Azad Engineering, IndInfravit Trust, GIR Natureview and 3rd Rock MultiMedia hit new 52-week lows. .
