Indices: Stock Market Update: Nifty IT Index Up 0.33%
Shares of Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 7.44%), LTIMindtree Ltd. (up 3.31%), MphasiS Ltd. (up 3.09%), Wipro Ltd. (up 0.79%) and Coforge Ltd. (up 0.78%) cent). ended the day with the highest gains in the pack.
On the other hand, L&T Technology Services Ltd. (down -7.81%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 2.02%), Persible Systems Ltd. (down 0.96%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (down 0.81%) and Infosys Ltd. (down 0.58%). fell) ended as the biggest loser of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 0.33 per cent higher at 33666.25.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index closed 150.4 points lower at 22419.95, while the BSE Sensex closed 609.28 points lower at 73730.16. Of the 50 stocks included in the Nifty index, 16 ended in green and 34 ended in red. Shares of YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, GMR Infra, HUDCO and Bank of Maharashtra were among the most traded stocks on the NSE. Shares of Kirloskar Pneumatic, Kirloskar Ind, HUDCO, Dolat Invst and Asahi Songwon hit new 52-week lows in today’s trading, while shares of Atal Realtech, Sheela Foam, Future Supply Chain, Popular Vehicle and Vodafone Idea hit new 52-week lows.
