Inference Labs has raised $2.3 million in pre-seed funding to revolutionize AI with proof of inference starting with Liquid Stake.

  • Inference Labs closed a $2.3 million pre-seed round led by Digital Asset Capital Management, Mechanism Capital, and Delphi Ventures.
  • Inference Labs’ latest funding round will power its innovative AI efforts with a focus on creating a network for efficient AI verification that integrates inference-proof consensus.

Hamilton, Ontario – reasoning lab, a pioneer in combining artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3 technologies, is proud to announce a successful $2.3 million pre-seed funding round. Funding led Produced by Digital Asset Capital Management, Delphi Ventures & Mechanism Capital, with participation from Big Brain Holdings, BitScale Capital, Edessa Capital, ID Theory, Metropolis DAO, Mozaik Capital, Newman Capital, and Seed Club Ventures. Industry leaders and builders: Lucas (founder of Renzo Protocol), Dan (founder of BENQI), Kalin (Render), Jason Morton (founder of zkonduit and EZKL), Santiago R Santos, Omar Shakeeb (founder of SecondLane), DeFi Dad, and many others. .

This investment is poised to further optimize Inference Labs’ innovative approach to AI, with Inference Labs’ work focused on developing networks for efficient AI verification through inference-proof consensus. Strategic financial support will also help us grow our team, accelerate product development, and fuel our entire ecosystem.

Colin Gagich, co-founder and CEO of Inference Labs, emphasized the urgency of avoiding monopolies in AI, saying, “We must lead AI into a new, safe and accessible era and ensure that it does not fall into the hands of the few. Its power far exceeds that of social media. Decentralized AI is not just our goal, it is a critical imperative for our future.”

Marc Weinstein, General Partner at Mechanism Capital, agrees: “Inference Labs is not only revolutionizing the field of AI, it is also changing the way we think about technology. “Their work integrating AI with Web3 is groundbreaking and essential to the next generation of technological advancements.”

Commenting on the funding round, Ronald Chan, co-founder of Inference Labs, details the fundamental principles that drive innovation. “AI’s natural criteria for interoperability are self-sovereignty within a resilient, decentralized network and integration of underlying value exchange into protocols. . New technological primitives must be built with machines as well as humans in mind. “This funding will allow Inference Labs to continue to make a significant impact in this rapidly changing environment.”

Inference Labs revealed Omron.ai, a pioneering Bittensor subnet #2 that leverages artificial intelligence to redefine the landscape of Liquid Stake Tokens (LSTs) and Liquid Restake Tokens (LRTs). Omron encourages explosive market growth by encouraging and rewarding LST and LRT activity. Inference is the moment of truth for neural networks. As the most successful peer-to-peer intelligence marketplace, it makes sense that Bittensor is Omron’s perfect educational ecosystem.

At its core, Omron uses a sophisticated ecosystem of smart contracts with validators and mining nodes. The system is intricately designed to provision, validate and improve automated liquid re-staking strategies on the most popular staking and re-staking platforms such as Renzo and Eigenlayer ecosystems. At Omron, individuals select their preferred (re)staking service through an aggregate interface. Participants contribute LST or ETH to create re-staked ETH positions. This will result in a (re)staking ERC20 token of your choice, which can then be used within the Ethereum network to provide training data to the Bittensor Omron subnet while earning additional rewards.

The overarching goal is to increase the efficiency of capital and information markets. By deploying a variety of predictive models, Omron not only facilitates passive Ethereum staking strategies, but also opens up additional restaking opportunities and efficiencies, paving the way for a more dynamic and responsive financial ecosystem.

novel aspect Omron Point incentive mechanism. Contributors who deposit LST or LRT receive points on an hourly basis. This incentive model incentivizes users to contribute as usual to their (re)staking platform of choice. Our audited smart contracts act as aggregators and all underlying liquidity (re)staking, points and incentives flow back to depositors and Omron points, improving capital efficiency and AVS return optimization AI models. Expand and continue with additional Liquid (re)staking activities in exchange for more points! In turn, these contributions energize the Bittensor Omron subnet with a continuous flow of on-chain LST and LRT performance data and activity, strengthening the overall intelligence and liquidity of the system. At Bittensor, active validators and miners in the subnet first will also receive points for their participation. The Omron subnet is the first Liquid (re)Stake Aggregator that provides depositors with direct exposure and rewards to artificial intelligence.

With Omron, Inference Labs is setting a new standard for AI integration in the DeFi space, offering a unique and compelling proposition that combines the transformative potential of liquid (re)staking and machine learning through inferential proof consensus. This initiative not only demonstrates Inference Labs’ innovative capabilities, but also represents a significant leap forward at the intersection of decentralized finance and artificial intelligence.
