Lightning Network – Force channel closure using LNBig-42:

The forced shutdown of the channel is still pending, but it’s only been a week or so, so hopefully it’ll be resolved soon.

Keep an eye on the forced shutdown status and make sure it’s on schedule. If something doesn’t happen as scheduled and starts on a node, you can contact the LNBig-42 operator and ask them to initiate a forced shutdown on their side.

Otherwise it has started on that node and you can force close it on your side using https://www.reddit.com/r/lightningnetwork/comments/nblv5d/can_you_forceclose_a_channel_that_is_already/ but I’m not sure. The channel closure of this thread was mutual.

This is most likely caused by the same HTLC expiration preference as observed in this question posted a few days ago. Automatic forced closure and chain settlement of expired HTLC
