The Litecoin Association, in collaboration with the Litecoin Core development team, has released the highly anticipated Litecoin Roadmap for 2016. This roadmap communicates the latest developments in both the Association and its core activities and sets out its vision and plans for the future. Litecoin has received a lot of criticism from users who say there is no visible plan to develop and establish Litecoin as one of the best altcoins. Therefore, LTC was slowly falling off the radar of not only miners but also cryptocurrency users. This has happened everywhere except China, where interest in LTC is still very strong. This may be partly because most Litecoin mining occurs in those regions. The new Litecoin roadmap should reassure people that the Litecoin project is still ongoing and that in addition to Litecoin Core wallet development, work is also underway on LoafWallet (an iOS-based LTC wallet) and Electrum-LTC (an Android and PC wallet). , LiteTip – Litecoin tip bot, Lamassu ATM and others support Litecoin. So, don’t be too quick to abandon ship as Litecoin could soon make a nice comeback. Especially considering that the recent issues and problems that Ethereum has had with its DAO have not yet been fully resolved.
