Bitcoin for Enterprise Day 1 Highlights

Bitcoin for Enterprise Day 1 made headlines as MicroStrategy announced a new enterprise platform for building decentralized identity applications on the Bitcoin blockchain.

EVP of MicroStrategy Engineer Cezary Raczko explained: “Every Bitcoin wallet, whether custodial or non-custodial, must incorporate Bitcoin-based digital identity creation. Many messaging platforms suffer from the same problem as email: You receive a text message, but how do you know who sent it? Can we include an orange check mark for these different messaging platforms?”

Day 1 also featured “Building Bitcoin,” a talk featuring Michael Saylor and Lightspark CEO David Marcus discussing the emergence of the Bitcoin Lightning Network, which will enable near-instant final settlement of Bitcoin and other assets between counterparties. There was this. Marcus also stated his view that Bitcoin is the only logical monetary medium for artificial intelligence agents.
