M-limits of five of the top 10 most valuable companies will increase by Rs 1.54 lakh cr. TCS Biggest Winner

Last week, the BSE benchmark Sensex was up 582.06 points or 0.75 per cent, while the NSE Nifty was up 127.4 points or 0.52 per cent.
“Indian equity markets ended the week on a solid footing, continuing their recovery despite heightened geopolitical tensions, rising crude oil prices and ongoing uncertainty surrounding the global interest rate outlook.
“Sentiments continued to be supported by encouraging Q1 2027 performance from the IT sector as TCS closed with around 10 per cent rise in weekly gains, renewed buying interest in financial stocks and resilience of domestic economic fundamentals,” said Ajit Mishra, SVP, Research, Religare Broking Ltd.
Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Bajaj Finance emerged as gainers, while HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Larsen & Toubro and Hindustan Unilever faced erosion in valuations.
TCS added Rs 72,072.3 crore, taking its market valuation to Rs 8,20,672.70 crore.
The country’s largest IT services company posted a 4.61 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 13,349 crore in the June quarter, a comeback in the current quarter on the back of improved demand following the impact of the West Asia crisis. ICICI Bank’s valuation jumped from Rs 29,062.06 crore to Rs 10,34,441.77 crore and Reliance Industries’ valuation jumped to Rs 29,062.06 crore. 23,884.93 crore to Rs 17,95,091.26 crore.
Bajaj Finance’s valuation rose from Rs 21,946.5 crore to Rs 6,57,274.28 crore and State Bank of India’s valuation rose from Rs 7,338.34 crore to Rs 9,63,768.78 crore.
However, Larsen & Toubro’s market capitalization (mcap) declined from Rs 18,097.72 crore to Rs 5,24,840.68 crore.
The valuation of LIC decreased from Rs 12,080.75 crore to Rs 5,48,124.30 crore.
Bharti Airtel’s mcap fell to Rs 11,91,067.77 crore from Rs 7,706.45 crore and HDFC Bank’s mcap fell to Rs 12,62,369.81 crore from Rs 7,084.61 crore.
Hindustan Unilever’s mcap decreased from Rs 1,221.79 crore to Rs 5,03,775.86 crore.
Reliance Industries remained the most valuable company followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, TCS, Bajaj Finance, LIC, Larsen & Toubro and Hindustan Unilever.
