SwingTradeBot is underway Scheduled for inspection this weekend I’m working on some behind-the-scenes infrastructure improvements to keep the site running smoothly and prepare for future improvements.
What changes?
During this maintenance period I will:
- Database server upgrade
- Switch to a new DNS provider
- General infrastructure improvements
These changes are part of an ongoing effort to improve stability, performance, and scalability.
When will this happen?
I will do my best to keep SwingTradeBot available during the event period. Friday, Saturday, Sunday daytime hoursBut it could be. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening outage periods While the work is being completed.
If all goes well, downtime should be limited to a few hours at a time.
DNS Change Information (Important)
Here’s what this means in practice:
- Some people may view the site normally, but
- Some people may see the site temporarily down
- this can last Depending on your ISP, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to in rare cases up to 24-48 hours.
If you cannot access the site during this period, it may simply be a DNS propagation issue. In most cases, waiting a moment and trying again later will resolve the issue. Or, if you have multiple ISPs, you can try using another one. For example, it might be possible if your home Wi-Fi can’t pass through your smartphone’s cellular data. In this case, you can tether your computer to your phone… or, if you have a VPN, you can try cycling through various servers.
