MicroStrategy (MSTR), largest company holder Bitcoin’s (BTC)On Wednesday, it increased its holdings further, purchasing 14,620 BTC for approximately $615.7 million. MicroStrategy Chairman Michael Saylor said on Twitter that MicroStrategy purchased Bitcoin at an average price of $42,110 each. The recent purchases increased the company’s holdings to 189,150 BTC, worth about $5.9 billion, purchased at an average price of $31,168 per BTC. MicroStrategy began purchasing Bitcoin in August 2020. The company’s most recent purchase prior to Wednesday occurred last month, when it purchased 16,130 BTC worth approximately $608 million.
