Mysten Labs partners with Alibaba Cloud to strengthen Sui blockchain ecosystem

Key aspects of this partnership include the development of a customized AI-enabled environment for Sui’s Move language developers. Mysten Labs and ChainIDE are jointly creating AI-enabled tools that simplify Move code development. Based on natural language processing, this tool allows developers to generate mobile code from simple prompts. Leveraging the infrastructure and technical support of Alibaba Cloud, this initiative promises to accelerate the pace of experienced developers and provide a supportive environment for newcomers to the blockchain development space.
The partnership also extends to education and community-focused efforts. We plan to roll out educational programs that emphasize blockchain and AI technologies throughout the university. Community events aimed at fostering a stronger and more engaged developer network around the Sui blockchain are also on the agenda.
To make Sui’s resources more accessible globally, Mysten Labs and Alibaba Cloud will translate Move documentation into Mandarin Chinese and Korean, expanding the reach of the Sui ecosystem in key Asian markets. This initiative reflects our strategic approach to fostering a diverse and global developer community.
The collaboration also includes infrastructure support for the Sui blockchain. Alibaba Cloud will provide full node services on Sui, contributing to the scalability and stability of the network. Additionally, in collaboration with ShinamiCorp, Mysten Labs’ strategic partner, Alibaba Cloud will provide gas station benefits to Sui builders, simplifying user transaction sponsorship on the blockchain.
A key component of this partnership is support for project incubators. Mysten Labs and Alibaba Cloud will provide cloud infrastructure and organize demo day events in strategic locations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai. This initiative aims to foster promising projects that contribute to the growth of the Sui network ecosystem.
