Mystic Moose and WowWee join forces to create blockchain-connected Planet Mojo toys.

A leading Web3 gaming ecosystem that partners with globally recognized toy companies known for bringing beloved gaming characters to life.

Planet Mojo, a leading web3 gaming ecosystem, and WowWee, an award-winning global toy company with hits like Fingerlings and Robosapien, today announced a collaboration to create toys and products centered around Planet Mojo’s IP, characters and lore. The toys unite the real and virtual worlds by connecting real-world toys with Planet Mojo’s in-game digital collectibles (NFTs).

At its core, Planet Mojo is a story about nature and technology set on a mysterious planet with a deep history. The evolving narrative is told through games, movies, and other media expansions, with visually stunning clan “champions” and the “mojos” they do their best to protect. Mojo is a plant-based creature that sprouts to protect the Earth after a mysterious object hits the planet, spreading a technological virus throughout the land and its creatures.

For over 20 years, the team and founder of Mystic Moose, Mike Levine, have been at the cutting edge of the physical digital revolution, creating a variety of award-winning products for leading toy companies that blend physical and digital play. Building on the success they had with their previous video game, UNTAMED/Battle ARena, Mike and WowWee won the prestigious KAPI Award for Best Mixed Reality Toy of 2019 at CES.

“We are excited to once again be working with Mike and Mystic Moose. Planet Mojo is an exciting IP with lots of potential for toys and beyond,” said Andrew Yanofsky, Director of Marketing and Operations at WowWee. “WowWee and Mike’s team are innovators, and we’re excited to see our initial concept become a reality!”

This collaboration marks a significant step forward for web3 gaming, blurring the lines between the digital, blockchain, and physical worlds. The toys come with a QR code, allowing owners to turn the toys into digital collectibles and create a deeper connection with Planet Mojo’s world and characters.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with WowWee, one of the industry’s leading toy manufacturers,” said Mike Levine, CEO and founder of Planet Mojo. “These initiatives reflect our commitment to innovation, community engagement and expanding the reach of the Planet Mojo universe. We look forward to our players and fans experiencing everything we have in store!”
