Network fees for transacting on the Ethereum network

A trader from a company called Tide Investment transferred USDT to my Coinbase wallet. But when I try to send usdt to coinbase I get the following message: Before making any transaction on the Ethereum network, you will need to add ETH to pay network fees. Does this sound normal to you?
