Nvidia GTX RTX 3080 Leaked – Double the hashrate of the RTX 2080 for the same price

GPU mining may finally be back. NVIDIA has announced its release. RTX 3000 Series This provides a huge performance increase of 50-80% compared to RTX 2000. The best part is that the price range is the same. The card can be used at: September 17, starting at $699 for Founders Edition.

NVIDIA has leaked some hashrate for Ethereum (DaggerHashimoto) mining. The RTX series is a new foundation Nvidia Amps A graphics architecture that provides better raw performance and power efficiency.

Comparison with RTX 2080Ti (54MH/s maximum)RTX 3080 output 75MH/s (factory standard) setting and up to 93Mh/s when overclocked. My only concern is power consumption. The 3080 has a 28% higher TDP than the 2080 at default settings, and up to 60% higher when overclocked.

As usual, the Founder’s Edition is probably not the best model for mining. Only two coolers are provided. Personally, I’ll wait for MSI or Gigabyte to release a version with 3 coolers.
