Patrick McHenry explains FIT21’s journey.

Representative Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., chairs the powerful House Financial Services Committee and has been a leading Republican on the committee for many years. Last year, he spent several weeks as House Speaker Pro Tempore after lawmakers voted to oust Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). McHenry announced his retirement last December and will leave office when his term expires in January. He spoke virtually at Consensus 2024 in Austin in late May.
