Polygon is a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that aims to improve the speed and reduce costs of transaction execution on Ethereum. Polygon uses sidechains to help with off-chain computations while maintaining security and uses a decentralized network of proof-of-stake (PoS) validators. POL is an upgrade and rename of the MATIC token. The transition to POL tokens is expected to improve token economics and governance rights, allowing stakeholders to participate more in Polygon’s decision-making process through community initiatives.

yes! However, our policy is not to disclose any details, including the assets we are considering, until shortly before launch. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on Kraken’s blog and social media profiles. Our Customer Engagement Specialists are unable to answer questions about what assets we may offer in the future.
