Node Update

Regular updates to nodes are essential to maintain security, improve efficiency, and integrate the latest improvements from each cryptocurrency development team. These updates help ensure that mining operations run smoothly and miners enjoy the best performance and stability.

Jetcash ZEC 5.9.1

This version of Zcash introduces significant security and usability improvements. The addition of the z_converttex RPC method allows users to transparently convert p2pkh addresses to ZIP 320 (TEX) format, simplifying transactions and enhancing privacy. This update also improves network security protocols by automatically disconnecting peers that send incorrect version messages and rejecting duplicate verack messages. These changes are part of an ongoing effort to improve the robustness of the Zcash network against potential network-level attacks.

FIRO v0.14.13.3

The latest Firo release represents significant progress in wallet technology and transaction processing. This update includes improved support for lightweight wallets, allowing lightweight wallet servers to efficiently query Spark state from nodes, facilitating better mobile interactions. This means transactions are recognized faster, balances are reported more accurately, and the overall user experience is improved. Additionally, the maximum transaction relay size has been increased from 100kB to 250kB, in response to community demands for higher transaction throughput, especially for UTXO integration and Spark mining operations.

KAS Rusty Caspar v0.14.1

The transition to Rusty Kaspa represents a major evolution of the Kaspa network infrastructure, targeting improved performance and scalability. This release represents the first stable version of the Rust-based node, significantly improving transaction processing speed and network stability. The transition from Go to Rust means that node maintainers will benefit from reduced disk usage due to efficient cleanup of headers and transactions, faster sync times due to optimized data handling, and a more robust RPC software stack for improved interaction with the network.

Zephyr v1.2.0

Zephyr’s latest update introduces tools designed to streamline development workflows, such as the new west grep command, which allows developers to search repositories in the west workspace using git grep, ripgrep, or standard grep, improving code management and bug tracking. The update also improves the manifest file format, including a description field, to make project metadata more usable and readable.

Monero delisting

As of June 10th, Monero (XMR) has been officially delisted from the 2Miners pool.

Reduced compensation for KAS, KLS, and PYI

We recommend miners to visit 2CryptoCalc for the latest calculations and adjust their settings accordingly. It has been successfully updated and shows the current mining profitability for your hardware.

KASPA(KAS) Compensation Reduction

The block reward for KASPA has been reduced from 110.00 KAS to 103.82 KAS according to the emission schedule.

Reduced compensation for Carlsen (KLS)

In accordance with the Carlsen coin issuance schedule, Carlsen’s block reward has been reduced from 44 KLS to 42.78 KLS.

Pyrin (PYI) Reward Reduction

Due to the reward reduction for Pyrin, the block reward has been reduced from 14 PYI to 13.21 PYI.
