Roaring Kitty posted on Twitter again. Does this mean he’s taking over AMC?

Roaring Kitty tweeted again, sending GME up 5% in pre-market trading. However, some Internet sleuths believe it suggests he owns AMC stock.

After posting a single tweet a week ago, returning to Reddit on Thursday and live streaming on Friday, GameStop bulls are back to posting movie references.

Keith Gill, better known as Roaring Kitty or DeepFuckingValue, was at the center of the 2021 GameStop short-seller, forever tying his name to the company.

But his long-standing habit of communicating through movie references on Twitter has led people to believe that he also owns AMC, another meme stock that has become popular in 2021.

His latest post is a screenshot from the opening scene of the Batman movie ‘The Dark Knight’, which shows Heath Ledger’s Joker character holding a kitten mask right before robbing a bank. Some Twitter detectives have taken a particular interest in the masks, believing there are numbers and messages hidden in the cat’s fur.

Many people see the number 5 on the mask and think it’s because AMC’s stock price is currently hovering around $5. Others see the word AMC written on the mask. However, the discovery of the original photo of the kitten debunked the theory that RoaringKitty added a hidden message to the mask.

People haven’t stopped believing that Roaring Kitty has AMC. This belief is only strengthened by a clip from the live stream where Roaring Kitty talks about the film, almost begging the audience to read between the lines.

“Oh movie, let’s go! Yeah, movie… Yes, we’re talking now!” “Just random things,” he grinned at the viewer.

AMC opened at $5.30 Friday morning, down 7.4% to close at $4.91 and little changed in premarket trading. GameStop opened at $37.69, but shares fell 25% to $28.22 after a disappointing first-quarter report and the streaming of Roaring Kitty. However, in pre-market GME rose 5% to $29.59.

This comes after the meme stock influencer returned to social media last week. He posted the Uno cards on Twitter and then on the Reddit community Superstonk, showing GameStop positions totaling $586 million.

He then scheduled a live stream on Friday with the theory that he could become a GameStop billionaire from streaming. Unfortunately for Gill, the company’s first quarter report was released early, causing GME to plummet 30%, throwing cold water on the party. Despite this, the meme stock influencer still garnered more than 700,000 viewers as GameStop’s price fell.
