SyncSwap ($SYNC) Token Airdrop Guide: Earn Money for Free!
SyncSwap is one of the first and largest protocols in the zkSync ecosystem. SyncSwap is a DeFi hub that allows users to trade with the same security as the Ethereum mainnet and earn trading fees by depositing liquidity into pools. On March 1, 2023, SyncSwap announced that the testnet was live on the zkSync Era testnet. In this article, we’ll look at how to best position yourself to receive a potential SyncSwap token airdrop.

SyncSwap Airdrop Step-by-Step Guide
Here’s how to receive a potential SyncSwap ($SYNC) token airdrop.
- Connect your wallet to Syncswap.
- Exchange your tokens.
- Deposit liquidity into the pool.
- Join their feud.
- Go to your guild page to complete the task.
See below for more details.
What is SyncSwap?
SyncSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that provides users with a secure and low-cost way to access decentralized finance (DeFi). Powered by zero-knowledge technology, SyncSwap provides users with a seamless and secure way to trade Ethereum-based assets. SyncSwap allows users to enjoy the benefits of DeFi without sacrificing security.
Does SyncSwap have tokens?
Sync Swap will do There is a future token called $SYNC. However, although there is no official announcement yet, it is very likely that SyncSwap will do an airdrop due to the popularity of airdrops and the positive benefits they can bring to the project (see Blur token airdrop). Especially because zkSync is also likely to do an airdrop.
How to receive a potential SyncSwap token airdrop?
The best way to receive potential SyncSwap airdrops is to interact with the SyncSwap Era testnet. Here’s how to receive a potential SyncSwap ($SYNC) token airdrop.
- Connect your wallet to Syncswap.
- Go to the swap page. Select the type and amount of tokens and click “Swap”.
- Deposit liquidity into the pool. In the top bar, click the down arrow, “Positions” and “New Position.” Select USDC and ETH and click “Enter Pool”. Then click “Deposit” on the left side of the screen and deposit both USDC and ETH. Then unlock your tokens and deposit them into the pool.
- Join their feud.
- Go to your guild page to complete the task.
The first phase of the SyncSwap loyalty program will last 30 days, from 14:00 on April 10 (UTC) to 15:00 on May 10 (UTC+1). At this stage, you will have 900,000 $SYNC. To participate, start trading ETH, USDC, BUSD (Celer Network) and USD+ to earn ySYNC. You automatically receive 1 ySYNC for every dollar of trading fees. A non-transferable SyncSwap loyalty token that can also be converted to veSYNC tokens.
How to Save Gas on SyncSwap
Trading volume could be the key to winning a potential $SYNC token airdrop. However, gas bills can be very expensive. Here are the two main ways on how to maximize your $SYNC airdrop by saving on gas costs on SyncSwap:
Paymaster is a new feature that allows you to pay for gas using different tokens and offers a fee discount for doing so. Paymaster currently allows you to pay gas fees using $USDT, $USDC, and $HOLD. To use Paymaster with SyncSwap, make sure both your MetaMask wallet and SyncSwap are connected to the zkSync Era network. Next, long-click on your account balance and the Paymaster window will appear. Here you can see the fee discounts Paymaster offers when paying gas fees using different tokens. For example, if you pay with $HOLD you will receive a 50% discount on fees! Click on the token you want to pay the gas fee for and proceed with the swap transaction in SyncSwap.
- Alternatively, if you plan to use ETH to pay transaction fees, you can save on gas costs by packing and unpacking ETH. To do this, pack and unpack ETH in the “Transactions” tab. Select “ETH” and “WETH” as the token, enter the amount of ETH you want to swap, and click “Wrap”. Check out the deals on Metamask. Then try to solve ETH in reverse. Gas fees are approximately $1 per transaction.
- Approve token spending. In the “Transactions” tab, select the token and enter “1”. Then click “Unlock”. Select your custom spending limit in MetaMask and click “Next.” Gas fees are approximately $1 per transaction.
SyncSwap Token Airdrop Review
There are several factors to consider when reviewing airdrops. First, there is a possibility that the project will conduct an airdrop in the first place. We will then look at how many tokens the project will allocate to the airdrop campaign and the difficulty of participating in the airdrop. It is also important to look at the utility of the token to ensure there is a real use and purpose for participating in the airdrop in the first place. Lastly, a factor to consider when reviewing an airdrop is whether a lock-up period applies to the airdropped tokens.
Airdrop possibilities: SyncSwap has confirmed that it will hold $SYNC tokens. They are likely to conduct airdrops given the interest in the protocol and how effective it has proven to be in driving users. Additionally, SyncSwap is built on top of zkSync and will likely conduct airdrops of its own.
Airdropped token allocation: The token economics of SyncSwap tokens are unknown.
Airdrop Difficulty: The project has not yet released any details about the airdrop. However, interacting with the testnet may open you up to potential airdrops. It’s also free, as you only need a testnet token!
Token Utility: SyncSwap token utility is unknown.
Token Lockup: The SyncSwap token lock-up period is unknown.
