Tesla China Offers Cash Discount on Select Model Y EVs By Investing.com
© Reuters Tesla China (TSLA) is offering cash discounts on select Model Y EVs.
Tesla (NASDAQ:) China is moving to attract more customers by offering cash discounts on its popular Model Y vehicle and introducing cutting-edge hardware upgrades.
The company announced a cash discount of 8,000 yuan ($1,114) on certain types of Model Y vehicles starting Thursday, according to its official social media accounts.
In addition to the cash discount, Tesla also introduced Hardware 4.0, the latest technology that powers FSD advanced self-driving features and can improve Model Y’s self-driving capabilities.
Shares of TSLA were up 1.09% in pre-market trading Thursday morning.
