Tesla to increase prices for Chinese-made Model Y from April 1 – Reuters

BEIJING (Reuters) – Tesla (NASDAQ:) plans to raise the price of its Chinese-made Model Y vehicles by 5,000 yuan ($694.55) from April 1, Reuters confirmed on Wednesday.
Tesla said it would increase the price of its Model Y vehicles by about 2,000 euros ($2,177) in some European countries starting March 22. Last Friday, the company announced that starting April 1, the price of all Model Y cars in the United States will increase by $1,000.
