Billionaire investor and Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper was caught on video throwing a drink at an opposing fan on Sunday.

video A video surfaced on social media Sunday of Tepper standing in a luxury box, throwing a drink at a nearby Jacksonville Jaguars fan and leaving.

The Jaguars beat the Panthers 26-0 in Jacksonville on Sunday, leaving Carolina with an NFL-worst 2-14 record this season with one game remaining.

ā€œWe are aware of the video and have no further comment at this time,ā€ an NFL spokesperson told The Athletic on Sunday. If Tepper is found to have violated the personal conduct policy, he could face punishment from the league.

Tepper, owner of hedge fund Appaloosa Management, acquired the Panthers for $2.275 billion in 2018. Tepper’s net worth is about $17.5 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

It was a disappointing season for Tepper and the Panthers. He was overheard yelling the ‘f’ word as he was leaving the locker room after a loss on November 26. A day later, he fired coach Frank Reich.
