In a recent AMA session, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson vocally criticized the XRP community for what he described as an “overly overwhelming campaign” based on misunderstandings and falsehoods.

“There is no desire for peace there,” Hoskinson said. “They don’t want peace because they don’t want to admit even for a moment that we are talking about the past with each other,” he added.

The long-running conspiracy in question claims that Ethereum backers may have unduly influenced the SEC’s decision to take legal action against XRP.

no evidence

Throughout the AMA, Hoskinson repeatedly appealed to the XRP community to move towards rational discourse and evidence-based debate.

“There is no evidence in the XRP community. There is no evidence that anyone bribed the U.S. government to track you down. You have no proof of that. It’s a conspiracy. If you have it, please show it to me. Years have passed. “No one has shown it,” he claimed.

He also called on Ripple leaders Brad Garlinghouse and David Schwartz to publicly acknowledge that the accusations are unfounded. Addressing the heart of the dispute head on, Hoskinson said, “I want Brad and David Schwarz to step up and physically say that every attack on our side is based on lies.”

Misconceptions about #ETHGate

Hoskinson gave his take on the #ETHGate controversy. He emphasized that his comments were seriously misinterpreted by the XRP community. “I never said #ETHGate didn’t happen. “I said it wasn’t important,” he explained, arguing that focusing on the issue is unimportant and counterproductive to the lawsuits XRP faces against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

He analyzed conspiracy theories that the SEC was tracking XRP due to illicit influence and labeled such claims as baseless with no evidence to support them.

“It is possible that someone could have directly or indirectly bribed the SEC to give Ethereum a free pass. Claiming that they also tracked XRP because someone paid a bribe is a conspiracy and there is no evidence,” he reiterated. .
