With the release of Uniswap V3, discussions on enabling fee conversion have begun again. GFX Labs, the creators of Oku, Uniswap’s front-end interface, proposed a plan to test protocol fee distribution in several pools in Uniswap V2, which has received a lot of attention. However, discussions ultimately fell apart due to legal fears and concerns that activation could drive LPs and liquidity away from the platform.
