Why Avoid ZigZag and Fractals? – Analysis and Forecast – December 21, 2023
If you want to code something, you can always look for ZigZag, Fractals, Moving Average, and other ways to find peaks and troughs to make your job a little easier.
However, this may not be the most accurate solution for your pattern.
As more advanced transaction methods are already being discovered and shared via the Internet, as used by banks, the logic behind coding peaks and troughs may need to be rethought, as it is of utmost importance. There are many search algorithms such as directed, sequential, random, weighted, etc.
I’ve seen some Hamonic pattern mql5 codes, and they’re all great, but the logic to plot them may not be correct, and continued use may result in a lost transaction.
The logic behind it is that there are many different search algorithms and to come up with a winning strategy you should always think about custom solutions that have not yet been developed.
MQL is the best language for outputting signals from the brain to MetaEditor and outputting them as functional programs.
The biggest problem with avoiding using ZigZag for your base is that you can’t be sure about ExtDepth and ExtDeviations until you research it. Therefore, to solve this problem, traders can approach other solutions, such as developing different custom-based search algorithms to draw patterns such as harmonics.
They are mostly based on price action.
I avoid using fractals because they are not a clear way to represent price activity.
