Work in progress June 2026: new Pearl Pool, Zcash hard fork, and two delistings

New Pool: Pearl (PRL)
Added pools for: Pearl (PRL)One of the most exciting releases of the year. Pearl is a GPU-mined coin, so instead of wasted hashing, miners run real AI-style matrix math (useful proof-of-work) on Nvidia and AMD cards. Both POOL and SOLO are already implemented in 2Miners.

- calculation: Pearl Hash
- pitman: SRBMiner-MULTI
- swimming pool: prl.2miners.com:1818
- solo: solo-prl.2miners.com:1919

Check your profitability with 2CryptoCalc and get started with PRL Pool or PRL SOLO. A full in-depth guide to Pearl is coming soon.
Zcash (ZEC) Emergency Upgrade: Orchard Vulnerability Fix
June saw the most significant Zcash event in years. A soundness flaw has been discovered in the Orchard shielding pool proof circuit that could theoretically be used to falsify the ZEC inside the shielding pool. Existing fund privacy and 21 million supply limit were maintained. ~ no Although there is no evidence that the flaw was exploited, an immediate and collaborative fix was required.

Zcash developers, along with major network participants, responded in two steps:
- Soft Fork (June 2) — Temporarily rejected all Orchard transactions to freeze risk.
- Hard fork NU6.2 (June 3) — Reactivated Orchard using modified circuitry and new confirmation key. node version 6.20.0 Supports NU6.2.
Here’s what this means for miners at 2Miners:
- The ZEC node has been updated to: 6.20.0 — essential Upgrade for everyone running node.
- Equihash mining was unaffected and generally operated normally.
- Payments have been paused. It was briefly restored during the soft fork (protected funds could not be moved) and then resumed.
- No wallet or address changes required.
The upgrade has been completed and the network is being closely monitored. Mining continues on ZEC Pool and ZEC SOLO.
node update
We also refreshed several coin nodes this month.
Beam — 7.5.14492 (HF6)
Beam has launched its sixth hard fork (“HF6”) with an emergency network upgrade. This is a node/consensus change. BeamHash III mining has not changed. So your equipment continues to function. You only need to update the nodes. We updated BEAM full nodes to maintain the canonical chain.
Rusty Caspar — v2.0.1
I updated my Kaspa node to: Rusty Caspar v2.0.1This is the recommended release around the Toccata hard fork. Mining (kHeavyHash) is not affected. The update improves node synchronization and operator tools.
Ergo — 6.0.3
The release candidate tested in May has been released as stable. 6.0.3. The most relevant change for miners is that nodes will no longer attempt to mine while being synchronized, preventing wasted and invalid candidates. It also modifies the mining candidate cache for custom public keys and provides general synchronization and mempool improvements. I live in an ERG pool.
CKB — 0.207.0
Routine miner releases with no consensus changes — just maintenance and administration, no action required from miners. Eagle Song mining remains unchanged. Available in CKB Pool and CKB SOLO.
Caspar (KAS) block reward reduction
In line with Kaspa tokenomics and a smooth monthly issuance schedule, Kaspa suffered another scheduled block reward reduction in June.
- Previous rewards: 2.75 what
- New rewards: 2.596KAS
Please be careful! Kaspa mining profitability has changed. We have already updated 2CryptoCalc to reflect the new reward values. Mining is possible in KAS Pool and KAS SOLO.
Delisting of Neoxa (NEOX) and Cortex (CTXC)
Pool and SOLO operations have been discontinued. NEOX and Cortex (CTXC). The last payment for both coins has been processed.
If you mine NEOX or CTXC, we recommend using 2CryptoCalc to find the most profitable coins for your hardware and point your equipment there.
