Zilliqa expands your organization’s reach and user accessibility through Fireblocks integration.
Zilliqa today announced a strategic integration with Fireblocks, a leading enterprise platform for blockchain applications and digital asset management.
This collaboration will provide a variety of opportunities for Fireblocks’ wide range of customers to seamlessly store ZIL tokens within Fireblocks Vault and facilitate transactions on the Fireblocks Network. Specifically, the network boasts enterprise-grade infrastructure designed for rapid digital asset transfers and dynamic payment workflows, improving accessibility to the Zilliqa blockchain for enterprise customers.
What sets this integration apart is native compatibility with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) applications, streamlining accessibility for users, and enhancing support for popular wallets and developer tools. Zilliqa aims to leverage Fireblocks’ powerful infrastructure to foster the development of robust multi-chain applications and further enrich the ecosystem.
Fireblocks serves a variety of customers, including financial institutions, cryptocurrency exchanges, and retail payment service providers. With a track record of facilitating the transfer of over $6 trillion in digital assets, Fireblocks’ approval of Zilliqa highlights Zilliqa’s increasingly prominent reputation in institutional finance.
Matt Dyer, CEO of Zilliqa, hailed the integration as a pivotal moment for the platform, emphasizing its role in ensuring that both institutional and retail investors have seamless access to Zilliqa’s high-throughput and secure blockchain network.
“By partnering with Fireblocks, we will further accelerate the growth and development of the ecosystem by opening the door for everyone from end users to financial institutions to explore and invest in the innovative and growing list of opportunities within the Zilliqa ecosystem.” Dyer added:
“We are excited to expand Fireblocks’ multi-blockchain support to include the Zilliqa EVM,” Stephen Richardson, managing director of financial markets at Fireblocks, said in a statement.
“Fireblocks supports over 60 blockchains and leading token standards for Web3 and NFTs, and Zilliqa’s integration provides new opportunities for institutional collaboration that leverages the capabilities of the Zilliqa ecosystem,” added Richardson.
Zilliqa’s partnership with Fireblocks not only strengthens Zilliqa’s position in institutional finance, but also strengthens the Web3 ecosystem. Fireblocks’ unmanaged Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS) offering will also significantly benefit Zilliqa’s efforts in the luxury and entertainment sector, providing a secure and scalable wallet platform for enterprises, fintechs and Web3 businesses.
