Zurich, Switzerland, September 25, 2019 — Shift Cryptosecurity helps customers secure their cryptocurrencies by combining the authentication capabilities of applied cryptography with the physical security of offline hardware devices. Today they announced the launch of BitBox02, a completely redesigned hardware wallet with native Llitecoin support.

Manufactured in Switzerland, BitBox02 allows users to independently generate and securely store private keys to access and trade crypto assets. BitBox02 natively supports Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), and ERC-20 tokens. You can also use it as a second factor authenticator (FIDO-compatible U2F) to secure your accounts on various websites.

The BitBox02 OLED screen allows users to view and confirm all transaction details before signing. Invisible touch sliders make navigating BitBox02 quick and simple. Backups are automatically saved to a free micro SD card, and you also have the option to copy the standardized BIP-39 mnemonic seed to a paper backup. The dual-chip design is one of the key features of its scrutinized and independently audited security architecture. The USB-C connector allows your device to be mobile as SHIFT adds Android support to its native desktop app.
