BOTANIX has launched Federated Sidechain as 16 members.

Botanix Labs has launched BOTANIX, a federated sidechain built in Bitcoin, a 16 -node federation including XBTO, Fireblocks, Antpool, UTXO Management and other entities (full lists below).
The Federation prevents a single entity, including Botanix Labs, does not control the network. Botanix Labs gave up its responsibilities and transferred governance and agreement to the node operator. The network is planned to develop into a dynamic alliance that supports hundreds of nodes, and anyone can achieve long -term goals to run Bota Knicks node. The main net of the network will be released later this quarter.
Willem Schroé, the CEO and co -founder of Botanix Labs, said in the press release: “The Bitcoin economy cannot be based on the centralized railroad. The 16 Node Foundation withdraw the centralized control control and laid the foundation for the future without permission.”
Botanix’s design emphasizes elasticity through geographically distributed nodes and various security hardware to minimize a single failure point. The goal is to support Bitcoin’s security and public access principles, which are consistent with consistent availability and countless transaction processing. If you call it the “Spider Chain” protocol, it is possible to compatible with Etherrium virtual machine, so that the assets or legs are not packaged, and applications such as direct loans and steaking on the network are possible.
Philippe Bekhazi, co -founder and CEO of XBTO: “Institutional interest in Bitcoin continues to grow, but growth depends on a safe and distributed infrastructure that can satisfy the standards of the professional market.”
Bekhazi also mentioned XBTO’s promise to support Botanix.
Founded in 2023, Botanix Labs developed the Spiderchain protocol and started Botanix. As the network is operated independently, the laboratory focuses on supporting research, developer tools and ecosystems. Botanix allows developers to build financial applications while maintaining Bitcoin’s basic hierarchy.
Distributing structure of the network supports the expansion and security of Bitcoin -related applications. As Botanix prepares to launch Mainnet, we aim to expand the union and move to additional decentralization.
