(Reuters) – The Justice Department plans to take a closer look at Walt. Disney (NYSE:), Fox and Warner Bros Discovery (NASDAQ:) over concerns that their planned sports streaming platform could harm consumers, sports leagues and competitors, Bloomberg Law reported on Thursday.

Regulators will review the terms of the deal once it closes, the report added, citing two people familiar with the matter.

Earlier this month, the three media giants said they would form a joint venture to launch a sports streaming service this fall to attract younger viewers.

The media company has an extensive portfolio of professional and college sports rights encompassing the National Football League, National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, FIFA World Cup and collegiate competitions.

Walt Disney, Fox and Warner Bros Discovery could not immediately be reached for comment, and the Justice Department declined to comment.
