February 2025 Work Progress: Network Upgrade, Modification and Security Improvement

Yellow (v5.0.6 update)
You can use Zend v5.0.6, the latest update of Horizen. All nodes must be upgraded before March 11, 2025The previous version (V5.0.5) is no longer used in the block #1730680.
Zend v5.0.6 will continue to be activated until the scheduled depreciation symbol is expected in the block #1783180. June 11, 2025.
Main changes:
- The extended depreciation height of v5.0.5.
- A new tool has been introduced to the dump address balance (provided by the Linux package).
AETERNITY (AE) v7.2.0 update
AETERNITY launches version 7.2.0 to improve security, performance and network stability.
Main update:
- Improved HC sync stability.
- Fixed rollback and direct access problems.
- MacOS build now supports the M1/ARM64 architecture.
This improvement contributes to a more efficient and stable AETERNITY blockchain ecosystem.
BEING (KAS) Rusty-KASPA V0.16.0 Update
The latest stable release of Rusty-KASPA (v0.16.0) introduces the major. Database upgrade From V3 to V4. The node operator must know that this is a single direction upgrade. In other words, it means that downgrades are impossible with the previous database version.
Database Upgrade Highlights:
- Save new data for temporary ghostdag stores.
- The high level of depreciation was removed from the high level of GhostDAG data (currently calculated soon).
- Muhash calculation parallel to improve performance.
- Support for the new transaction resistance office code and arithmetic improvement.
Reduced KAS block compensation
As part of the Kaspa Tokens and Discharge Schedule, block rewards have been reduced.

Flux (flux) v7.2.0 update
The latest flux release (V7.2.0) introduces a series of optimization to improve network efficiency and reduce storage requirements.
Main changes:
- Flux OS Arcane Image Support.
- Database compression and cancellation status.
- About 9GB of data is removed, reducing the chain size from 44GB to 35GB.
- Disabling depreciation (flux daemon is no longer depreciated).
- Modification for displaying a payment address for P2SH (Multisig) flux nodes.
These updates improve the efficiency of flux nodes and reduce storage overheads to make the network more expander.
