Solana’s MixMob Launches ‘Race-to-Earn’ Game Ahead of Airdrop, Saga Phone Perks

Crypto gaming startup MixMob has released its first Solana-based game, Racer 1. The game is a card-driven strategic racing experience where players can earn tokens by betting or playing matches and winning races. This launch comes ahead of MixMob’s plans to airdrop tokens to the community.

Racer 1 is a “race to earn” game where players can also choose to stake (or lock up) MXM tokens, according to the game’s lightpaper. The game can be played on iOS and Android devices, as well as through desktop web browsers and Solana Saga smartphones.

In Racer 1’s sci-fi robot world, players can own and race MixBots, each represented by Solana NFTs, each with different abilities. While players race, viewers can support their favorite gamers by using MXM, the governance token of the MXM Esports League, to unlock premium items or purchase gifts for their favorite gamers.

The public sale for the bundle, including MixBot NFTs and MXM tokens, and other benefits will begin on January 11th.

Racer 1 has two tokens: MXM and SUD. According to the project’s lightpaper, holding MXM tokens will enable revenue sharing, referral rewards, and the ability to vote on future governance decisions for the game. SUDOn the other hand, are tokens that can be earned by winning games or making purchases within Racer 1. SUDs can be used to collect NFTs or MXM tokens, per Lightpaper, but they are “soulbound” and cannot be traded externally. This is what the game ecosystem looks like.

MixMob CEO Simon Vieira said decryption The company sent out a message that it would be airdropping MXM tokens to active community members and gamers who play Racer 1 and use its racing, referral, staking and betting features. MixBots NFT owners are also included in the airdrop.

“The goal is to reward our supporters over the past two years. and It drives utility for both tokens and gaming NFTs,” Vieira explained.

Since the Racer 1 is built on Solana, the MixMob team decided to provide exclusive benefits to owners of Solana Saga phones and worked on various other projects that provide unique benefits to buyers of the phones.

Saga owners will be included in their own exclusive airdrop and will be able to participate in the Saga-exclusive Racer 1 tournament, which is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of this year, along with other game mechanics that Vieira said are “only possible in Saga.”
