Ethereum, the largest blockchain for non-fungible tokens, has regained NFT market dominance from Solana following the resurgence of popular blue-chip NFTs such as Azuki, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club. After new Solana-based NFTs gained traction among traders, Ethereum lost its early NFT market dominance to Solana.

Ethereum flips Solana on NFT sales

The Ethereum blockchain network has risen up the ranks to become the second most traded blockchain network in the NFT ecosystem, according to data compiled by on-chain data aggregator CryptoSlam.io. Ethereum is set to compete with the current champion Bitcoin network, which seized NFT market dominance last November.

In the last 24 hours, Ethereum recorded $12 million in non-fungible token trading volume, while Solana recorded $9.8 million in volume. Bitcoin continues to lead with $14 million in trading volume. During this period, Ethereum NFT sales increased by 48% compared to the previous day.

1. Azuki NFT Collection

Blue-chip Azuki, a collection of non-fungible tokens from digital asset incubation studio Chiru Labs, is currently the best-selling NFT collection. In the last 24 hours, Azuki, an NFT collection featuring a limited edition of 10,000 anime-themed NFTs hosted on the Ethereum network, recorded transaction sales of 2,851 ETH. During this period, Azuki NFT sales increased by 5%.

2. Boring Monkey Yacht Club NFT Collection

Bored Ape Yacht Club, an NFT collection from digital asset company Yuga Labs featuring a fixed supply of 10,000 NFTs hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network, is currently the second most traded NFT collection. In the last 24 hours, Bored Ape Yacht Club recorded a trading volume of 2,452 ETH. During this period, sales of the Bored Ape NFT collection increased by 4.9%.

3. Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT Collection

Mutant Ape Yacht Club, another blue-chip NFT collection from Bored Ape Yacht Club creator Yuga Labs, is currently the third best-selling NFT collection. In the last 24 hours, the NFT collection featuring a limited edition of 20,000 pieces hosted on the Ethereum network recorded transaction sales of 1,189 ETH. The market size is $252 million and the lowest price is $12,932.

4. DeGods NFT Collection

DeGods, an NFT collection from digital asset company Dust Labs featuring a limited edition of 10,000 NFTs hosted on the Ethereum network, is currently the fourth most traded NFT collection. In the last 24 hours, the DeGods NFT collection recorded a trading volume of 848 ETH. DeGod’s NFT sales increased 5.3% from the previous day.

5. Chunky Penguin NFT Collection

Featuring a fixed set of 8,888 NFT collections hosted on the Ethereum network, NFT brand Pudgy Penguins’ NFT collection Pudgy Penguins is currently the fifth best-selling NFT collection. In the last 24 hours, Pudgy Penguins recorded a trading volume of 824 ETH. During this period, Pudgy Penguins NFT sales increased 13% from the previous day.
